LL.B.(Hons.) programme is divided into three academic years; each year comprises a number of modules related to subject-specific information, in accordance with Solicitor’s Regulatory Authority (SRA) UK and with the Supreme Court direction for legal education. This programme is in compliance with the Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) and Higher Education Commission (HEC).
Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility/ Pre-requisite for admission: FA/ FSc: 70% / A-levels: 2 Bs and 1 C (minimum)
Admission to Ziauddin Faculty of Law, for a three-year LL.B.(Hons.) degree programme in collaboration with the University of Northampton is open to all individuals who meet the selection criteria. All candidates are selected for their academic achievements and potential. Students are admitted to the first year of LL.B.(Hons.) on previous high school and/ or college academic record, and interview conducted by the Ziauddin University along with an English admission test.
To satisfy the English language requirement for the LL.B.(Hons.), students must have one of the following:
- IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in all bands
- TOEFL (iBT) 80
- Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English grade C or above
- English O Level (GCSE) with grade C or above
- Grade C or above in the following A-Level subjects:
English, History, Business Studies, Sociology, Law, or Psychology - International Baccalaureate English with 5 points or above
The selection of students is on the basis of an admission policy approved by the Governing Body of Ziauddin University, which is in line with the regulations of the Pakistan Bar Council and HEC.
Learning Objectives
To inculcate in students a broad understanding of the social, political and economic contexts within which the UK, Pakistani, and global legal system operates.
To Equip students with knowledge and understanding of the fundamental doctrines of Law and provide them with an internationally recognized Degree.

Note: Any additional taxes imposed by the government will be the liability of the students/parents/guardians. The University reserves the right to increase the fees if required according to the recommendation of the Governing Body. Advance fees to be paid per annum. All dues need to be cleared within two weeks of commencement of the academic year. 2% surcharge per month will be levied on outstanding fees after the due date.
